Replacing Old Crown, and One Veneer

“Thank you, thank you, thank you! I finally have the teeth I have always wanted!”

In this case, we replaced an old, metal based crown on the upper right central tooth, and placed a veneer on the upper left central tooth. This closed the space on the patients upper left, and restored symmetry, and correct tooth proportions.

The tooth shape was designed to complement the client’s facial features. The above is a picture of the trial smile stage of this treatment, and the quote is the initial reaction. The final crown and veneer will look perfectly life like, and natural.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation

This is a before and after treatment of the top teeth only. The bottom teeth still have the trial smile provisional teeth in place.

The large amount of wear was due to a change in the bite. Here, some back teeth were removed, as a child, and this had caused the back teeth to tilt forward, changing the bite. This change in bite also had some other effects, for example, the lump of bone visible on the clients upper left side.

After the bite was re-set, we built up the front teeth, and placed crowns and veneers to re-establish a fixed bite, and also improve the smile. Not only do the teeth look nicer, but here the whole facial profile has improved, by making the upper lip appear fuller. This coupled with the amount of tooth that is now on show, and the whiter colour of the tooth, has resulted in a generally much younger appearance… Now to treat the bottom teeth!
